Protected school data

The platform may process information about schools, accounts, classes, subjects, teachers, parents and students to operate the school service. Each school keeps its own data perimeter, including when a user is linked to several schools.

Accounts, profiles and visual identity

• Profiles may include identification details, roles, useful contact information and, when allowed by the school, profile photos or avatars.
• These details help identify people clearly across web and mobile spaces.
• Profile access remains limited by the role of the signed-in user.

Academic and administrative follow-up

• Sahel School may display or organize grades, attendance, report cards, schedules, archives and academic information.
• This data supports school follow-up, communication and continuity between the school, teachers, parents and students.
• Each profile can access only the information that concerns them or that the school makes available; multi-school links do not merge data from several schools.

SSMail and SSChats communications

SSMail and SSChats are intended for school communication and should be visible only to authorized participants and profiles.

Limited data use

Data is used to run school services, secure access, present useful information and make school workflows easier to read.

Security and role-based access

• Permissions are organized by profile: administration, teachers, parents, students and authorized internal roles.
• Credentials must remain confidential and each school is responsible for managing user access.
• Administration access can require stronger verification, including Authenticator-based MFA when enabled by the school.
• Sahel School separates spaces and school-based links to reduce exposure of sensitive information.

Account and data deletion

• An adult user, a parent or legal guardian, or the linked school may request deletion of a Sahel School account or associated data by writing to support@sahelschool.com.
• The request should mention the app concerned, the account email address, the profile role and the linked school so identity and request authority can be verified.
• Personal access can be disabled, reset or deleted by the authorized school or by Sahel School depending on the role, school context and applicable rights.
• A request does not automatically erase all school records immediately: some information may be retained by the school or Sahel School when retention remains necessary for administrative, academic, legal, security or archival purposes.
